Here's something I've been working on a bit here and there. It's that scarf kit from Habu Textiles. It's merino and steel and is a real hoot to work on. The metal yarn feels more like cotton while you are knitting with it (as far as how harsh it feels to my hands and even how it lays when I'm pulling more off the cone) but it holds it shape in the actual knitted garment so you know it's not cotton. Kinda messes with your head in a way. I adore it so far.

Really? metal yarn?! That's cool! I think I remember that they did something similar to make armor in medieval China.
