Happy Easter, All

Bragging

I must take a quick minute (at least) to brag. DH has taken up
spinning and has gotten amazing good after just a couple of weeks. We
bought him a bunch of solid shades of Corriedale rovings and I love
his sense of color. The one on the left is a Shetland and Corriedale
mix. The right is a mix of three shades of orange Corriedale. Gorgeous
stuff. I have to dream up something equally beautiful to make with them.

Reading

In addition to the alt crafts happening around the house I have
rediscovered my love of reading. And particularly those long running
series of novels. I'm already up to C with lists going for all those
other authors I've been interested in looking at.

Crafty goodness

I managed to get some crafty goodness in this weekend. I bought a kit
ages ago to make the Tropical Frothy quilt from Kaffe Fasset and
finally cut out most of the top yesterday. I may have to get the
machine out tomorrow just to keep the momentum going.

Guess it was my turn

Looks like the random spammer got me. That last post was news to me.
But since I'm actually writing this one I will say a big Hello! to
everyone. Still around. Still knitting, though not as much as I'd
like. Hope all is well with the world for you all.
